The LEOMATIC P50-104 board enables all modules of the SYSTEM5 family to be interfaced to PC104 systems.
On the one hand, it plugs into the PC104 bus, and on the other hand, it connects to LEOMATIC SYSTEM5 devices via CANBus networks.

In this way, SYSTEM5 modules can be deployed over long distances, with only the P50-104 on the control system bus.
The 400 MHz DSP microprocessor guarantees adequate performance in terms of communication speed.
The libraries supplied allow all the SYSTEM5 functions to be managed directly from the application software on the PC104 system CPU.
The on-board firmware, resident on flash memory, can be updated on-board using a special tool.

It should be emphasised that the open architecture of the firmware allows specific functionalities to be implemented at the customer's request.

The Rack 42TE system can be blind, connected via serial line to a standard external PC, or equipped with a simple operator interface such as the Leomatic P29 panel or commercial with MODBUS protocol.

  • The 24 Vdc DC/DC power supply is incorporated on the internal backplane (models with up to 9 slots).
  • The 230 Vac AC/DC power supply is only available for 84 TE racks (12 or 17 slot models).
  • The bus is passive with 3/5/6/9/12/17 slots for Leomatic Eurocard cards with IPC bus.

The Rack can consist of the modules:

  • P41: Leomatic CPU with Leomatic PNC firmware;
    2 serial ports with configurable electrical interface (RS232/422/485/CAN) , RAM and FLASH on board.
  • P09: Opto-isolated digital I/O (16 In + 16 Out)
  • P37: Analogue I/O (8 In + 4 Out, with additional option P39 of fast digital I/O)
  • P20: Fast counters (4/8 multi-mode fast counters)
  • P38: motion control (2 independent or interpolated axes, with additional option P39 of fast digital I/Os)
  • Modular system (up to 17 slots).
  • Complete real-time control of automatic machines with possible operator interface (local or remote, simple or high-level).
  • Highly integrated applications with a favourable performance/cost ratio.
  • Front Panel: 3 HE, 24/42/84 TE.
